Rich in history, Node Park has had many incarnations.
Originally an old farmhouse and outbuildings owned by John Brocket in 1638, in 1815 it was renovated as the building we see today and served as a private manor house, In 1947 it became the headquarters for Palestine Police Colonies, and during the 90's it was a popular wedding and conference centre before being converted into 16 luxury homes.
We have designed and installed all 16 kitchens for three new build detached houses, three renovated mews style coach houses and ten apartments.
The main house has been transformed to meet the needs of modern living whilst retaining the original character of the building and now contains ten, two and three bedroomed, spacious and high-specification apartments. All the properties have wonderful views of the gardens and an abundance of natural light.
Urban Myth has been involved with the transformation of this historic development since conception and when designing and specifying the kitchen furniture and fittings for this development we ensured that no detail was overlooked and the kitchens enhanced the character of the properties.
Old meets new, the buildings themselves are traditional in design but our client wanted to include modern style kitchens that were fitted with all the practical high-spec appliances needed for everyday living plus a few luxuries — such as the wine chillers, which we can always fit in somewhere!
Pictured here are the kitchens in Apartment 3 and Apartment 7 of the main house.
The kitchen in apartment 3 features Soft Cashmere and Natural Oak handle-less units from the Urban Theme range, 20mm Bianco Maple composite stone work surfaces with appliances from Siemens, Blanco and Caple.
The open shelving beside the tall units maximises the storage in the kitchen and offers a practical space for everyday items. The lay on breakfast bar is also a practical and modern touch — allowing the everyone to be part of the action in the kitchen and perfect for entertaining.
Apartment 7 features Soft Cashmere and Grey Acacia handle-less units from the Urban Theme range, 20mm Bianco Maple composite stone work surfaces, Bronze mirror glass splashback and appliances from Siemens, Blanco & Caple.
The downdraft extractor fitted into the island means that the architecture of the high ceilings remains a focal point of the room. The fridge/freezer has been integrated into the tall storage, giving the space a clean and unfussy style so the new homeowners can enhance to their individual taste.
All of the kitchens at Node Park are from our Urban Theme range with Stone worktops and include appliances from Siemens, Blanco & Caple.
